Marriage at last!

One of my bestest pals in poly got married on Christmas Day!!! OMG~~

We are all 22 years old, but she got hitched before all of us! ENVY…(Erhm erhm*) When is it gonna be my turn? Witnessing Juliet’s wedding @ My Humble House + watching “It started with a kiss & They kissed again” drama which the leads got married at 20 years old really make me have the URGE to get married soon! Its not superficial at all, cos it has always been my wish since i reckon that getting married at a younger age is better. In the sense that me and my kids’ age gap wont differ by alot.

Of course, my marriage has to be a lavish and romantic ceremony witnessed by everyone who know me. Not being materialistic here, but getting wed is every girl’s dream but getting wed in a nice and lavish atmosphere is a girl’s lifelong memories and happiness. So, no bargain or haggle on this. Means no compromise. Oops. Im so direct, but i dun wanna be like some gals who give in to their other half and say “anything lah dear, up to you…you happy can already”. Thats being foolish. I should be the one controlling my own happiness. I have my own expectations towards my wedding, which i was discussing in detail with Jillian @ Juliet’s wedding. Haha, we realized we have 2 things in common:

1. A romantic and memorable wedding witnessed by many family and friends

2. Attendance of our beloved precious doggie: For this, Jill wants a wedding where dog lovers can bring along their dogs, but for me, its very precise. I only want the presence of chihwahwas. Haha. And Vicky must have a little corner seat at my table with my family, cos she’s part of the family, isnt she?

Anyways, enuff about our weddings. I felt really touched at Juliet’s wedding. Looking at the solemnization ceremony, my hair really stand. I almost wanna tear. Becos she has found her true love. And to make it even more beautiful, its her first love. So who says first love cant last? Jul is one perfect example!

I still remember back in poly days, when e 4 of us were discussing about marriage, i told the rest that Jul will be the 1st to get married cos she has this motherly face more than us! Indeed it came true! I guess for the 3 of us, its still a long way to go.

And some random photos at Xmas countdown @ Home(East Coast). Many different groups of friends that night, even my bro and his frens were there. Haha but it was quite fun singing and drinking! Its also my 2nd xmas with JM!

Say that you love me, say that you care

Haha, my one yr anni belated celebration was a nice blast! Its one of those pleasant and sweet surprises that you expect from your bf, but yet at the most unexpected moment, he actually surprised me and i was totally caught off guard!

Thats him. Once in a while, especially on special occasions, he will make the extra effort to make me a happy girl on that day. Its even more important to us because our time spent together are mostly becos of work=MDS. Hence, we hardly any private time for ourselves, like weekends are spent on photo shoots and endless work. Not that i complain, since MDS is also my love, but just that sometimes, at some point in time, i will feel lost and look at JM as if he’s my working partner, and not a bf.

Ok, the surprise started while im out shopping for Juliet’s wedding outfit with my poly frens cos Sharon needs our help. I knew i was going to meet JM at 5pm but didnt know where exactly. He’s been soo secretive these few days and never leaked out any clue for me to guess. So i was completely clueless. Out of a sudden, at 4pm he msged me saying, “ok! 4pm! rule of the anniversary game is that we can only communicate via sms until you see me. you dont have to abandon your frens but dont worry, i have already spoken to jill. you will need to make your way down to rasa sentosa shangri la resort asap. upon arrival, you will be given your room number and your list of twelve presents(12 stands for 12 months of time spent togr). you do not need to bring anything becos ive access to your house if you have not discovered that your house keys have been switched by now, hah sorry, see you later!” Thats his entire sms. Haha. Stupid me. I was still thinking we are going there for dinner. Only when i reached there den i realised he book a room for me and he decorated the room with balloons around the box of gifts. It was really amazing to see his hard work. Cos he blew the balloons until he sweat even when the room is fully air-conditioned.

So the secretive plan is that, he put up a surprise retreat for me @ Rasa Sentosa resort so that i can have a good rest for 2 days before school starts. I really, really appreciate that effort. Even when i flew overseas to fulfill my role as a purchaser, i dun get to rest AT ALL. So, im soo thankful to him for all these. I really enjoyed myself. From watching “Songs of the seas” to slacking like a bummer at the beach late at night to sun-bathing the next morning to drinking wine and eating cakes to opening up and guessing my every present from him. Haha, how i wish this goes on forever man.

It started with a kiss.

Oops, there i go again.

During Poly year 2 & 3, i was completely mesmerized by this Taiwan actor, Zheng Yuan Chang. Those 2 years, i did alot of crazy stuff with my dearie Jillian, who was also attracted to him after watching “The Rose” tv drama. Becos of this drama, i repeated like at least 3 times. And i observe every of his facial expression. They never fail to make me gaze stupidly at him and i was totally in love with this guy. Yes, i know its madness. After this guy, its been quite a while since i have another idol. Perhaps its cos of age and the fact that im in smu now…which girl in smu has an idol?! Everyone seems to be really mature and cool, having an idol reckons to be so childish and never a norm among smu girls.

Haha, f**k care. Im in love with Zheng Yuan Chang AGAIN. Yes, again!! OMG, his charm is totally irresistible. He has this really boyish and “clean” look which never fails to make me look at him another time. Not to forget, he’s one of those actors who really acts well in Taiwan cos of his always “depressed” facial expression. It so makes me wanna understand this person more.

Gosh, i still remember i actually joined his fan club in 2004 when my attraction towards him really peaked at that time. I bought his posters, books and all his dramas to watch. Haha, everyday in class, Jill and me discussed all sorts of crazy stuff that we wanna do to him. Hehe. Oops, and i claimed myself to be his wife, and Jill, his mistress. Wad da heck. I kinda miss those days when studying is a breeze and i have ample time to chase after my fav idol. Now, life is so busy till i cant breathe sometimes, dun even talk about chasing after idols and doing crazy stuff that a normal student would do. Its been really DAMN LONG that i admire an idol. I quite enjoy the thrill and feelings of liking an idol. Like i would go online and google about him, watch previews and news about him, joining some fan clubs to receive updates about him again. I still remembered in 2004, when i google “Zheng Yuan Chang” theres only like less than 10 sites about him. Now, its endless pages of sites.

I like him again after watching this love comedy that was inspired by the Japan version, “It started with a kiss”. Though the female actor isnt pretty at all, but the drama is supposed to be lidat. A really good-looking guy falling in love with an ugly and stupid girl. Saw on the news that Part 2 is OUT!!! Freak, i am so gonna get it after i finish K-ing Part 1. Its such a bliss to be able to watch 2 good dramas during this dec holidays. Haha, thats why i happily MIA-ed these few days.

Okok, back to my drama again. Argh, im such a TV freak. My life nowadays is just revolving around TV and MDS. My last xmas launch is tmr! Looking forward to it, cos if nothing goes wrong, Dawn Yang is supposed to be blogging and advertising about my site. Whatever it is, just hope everything is going well!

Vicky’s Outing

I promised my dearie Vicky that i will bring her to the beach at the beginning of this year. This promise couldnt be fulfilled cos i was too busy with studies and MDS. My pitiful doggie kept waiting cos she understands what is meant by “gai-gai”. Everytime i tell her, “lets go gai-gai”, she will wag her tail vigorously and look at me with her big round eyes. Real poor thing.

There was one point in time when she felt so bored at home and started to bite and chew her own nails till it was badly infected. See how much i neglected my previous princess. So, during this december holidays i tell myself that i MUST bring her out to the beach at least once. And it came true! Like finally! After so many months of waiting and days of bad rainy weather, i brought her out to East Coast Park cycling and sunbathing. She was sooo elated! JM placed her in a basket in front of his bicycle while i ride on another one. We cycled for almost 3 hours under the hot sun and now, i think im a little burnt. But still, i totally enjoyed myself. Looking at how active Vicky is and how much she love outdoors, especially the sand and sea, all worth the tan! Nuff’ said, photos time!

Anyways, thanks to all who emailed me regarding the part time modeling task. I have selected one of the applicants to be my model, whom i think is more suitable. Not saying that others are not suitable, but im kinda looking for someone with a distinct style to bring out the look that im seeking. Anyways, thanks to all applicants again!

Rain, rain go away.

Stupid rainy season. Made me feel so lethargic. Everyday im just hiding in my comfy bedroom watching my newly bought Korean Drama at night and working on MDS in the day. I totally dun feel like stepping outdoors. I was supposed to visit the gym today, but canceled it due to bad weather. Haha, might be an excuse, but definitely a valid reason. But of course, i enjoy being a home-bound girl slacking around at home, ordering my favorite Canadian Pizza when im hungry, drinking my hot piping milo and playing with my dearie Vicky. After which, napped through the late afternoon and waking up for dinner. Haha, im so like a sloth.

The Korean Drama, “Fantasy Couple” that i bought is GREAT!! Its really nice, considering the fact that i really think the gal’s temper and character is so similar to mine. Its as if im watching myself on tv. Gosh.

On a different note, i wanna advertise something here. I got no time to find suitable candidates to be MDS model, so i’ll just announce it here. Short Holiday :)

Just came back from a short trip with JM to Thailand. Shouts T.I.R.E.D.

The flight back was really bad, cos the plane was so damn shaky and unstable. I have air sickness since i was young, though it got better when im older, it was still quite a traumatic experience for me yesterday. Different pilots really have different flying techniques. The one who brought me to BK was really good and smooth, we even have passengers clapping hands profusely during take off and landing. Haha was quite a sight.

Visited Siam Square twice in 4 days, lurve it to bits! All the concept stores and vintage shops are located there, and they sell prettyy and quality clothes! I bought alot of quirky accessories and my Anna Sui bag there! Love the place; there’s nice food and shopping there. After that we just need to cross over the bridge to Siam Paragon which is damn huge also. Bangkok streets have a feel of Christmas too, with all the lovely decorations and lightings going on.

Besides shopping, i basically spent my time EATING and MASSAGING. I did foot massage and body spa, ultimate relaxation man. We visit different spas everyday to try out their service! Love to pamper my body, especially after all the walking and not to mention, massage in Bangkok is so much more affordable than in Singapore. Singapore spas are such a rip-off, especially spas like F** & the one starting with M and ends with Y. I wouldnt say BK’s dirt cheap, cos the ones we frequent are those in shopping malls, so they are not the cheapest around. We paid more for the experience and atmosphere. JM love the “peanut butter” tea there so much that he wanna buy them home to make. Haha.

We ate at MK restaurant twice in 2 days. Its just so damn nice that we never get sick of it. Tried both MK Gold & MK Trendi, prefer the MK Gold cos of their fantastic LIME HONEY DRINK!! Thats the best drink i had so far!! It beats my fav Milo and Coffee can.
